Completed in 2012, this terraced dwelling was designed as a modern sanctuary that responds to light and tropical weather. The use of adjustable louvres and movable porous screens are prominent design features to deflect heat and capture the “galaxtical” shadows. The use of natural materials on the facade elevates texture and provides depths. An internal skylight allows natural lighting into the private dressing room while the alternating stairway allows a separate entry to the attic transforms the space into a private loft.
